The most common Flat Top Lined Bifocal is the Flat Top 28. This bifocal corrects for both near and far distances.
The width of the Flat Top 28 bifocal is 28mm wide at the top of the visible line on the lens and resembles the shape of a 'D' lying on its side.
The Executive Lined Bifocal, also known as the 'Franklin Bifocal,' features a visible line that extends across the entire width of the lens.
This design is ideal for extensive reading or close-up work, providing a wide field of near vision. This bifocal corrects for both near and far distances.
Modern and versatile, the Round Lineless Bifocal features a round area for near vision (32mm in diameter) with no visible line, providing a seamless look.
This design is similar to the classic Flat Top 28 but without the visible line, making it ideal for those seeking a more cosmetic appeal. Additionally, the Endless Bifocal is available with a wider variety of lens add-ons and materials, offering more options for customization. If you like the classic Flat Top 28, you may find the Round Lineless Bifocal to be a perfect upgrade with more functional options.
Our Wide Lineless Bifocal offers an expanded near vision area up to 40mm, providing a noticeably larger near viewing area while maintaining panoramic distance vision.
This design is perfect for those who prefer a wider near vision area, similar to the Executive Lined Bifocals, but without a visible line. If you are accustomed to wearing Executive Lined Bifocals and seek a seamless look with a wider variety of lens add-ons and materials. It's also an excellent option for children who have been prescribed bifocals by their eye doctor.
